Alone with all of my thoughts
Very heavy on my mind,
The darkness fits my mood
Are there answer here to find?
Can the beauty of the sky
Shed some needed heavenly light
To answer my many prayers
In this dark and lonely night.
I’m tired of being strong
I’m tired of trying alone,
I need someone who’ll listen
To make sense of the unknown.
I can’t do this it on my own
But need a good friend by my side,
Who knows just what I’m missing
Where wisdom and support abide.
I believe the sun will shine again
Through the Father up above,
And He’ll help me find the answers
Through the power of His awesome love.
